coffee grounds

Did you know that you can compost coffee grounds?
California plants LOVE coffee grounds because our soil is naturally basic.
Coffee grounds are acidic and lower the pH of the soil to a level
that plants (especially veggies) thrive in.
You can throw the grounds into your compost bin or you can sprinkle them around your plants.
We save all of our coffee grounds in the cafe and use them throughout our mini farms!
