Kale is a green leafy vegetable that is part of the cabbage family. Kale has many beneficial properties and healthful vitamins. It is particularly high in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, and Calcium. We are currently growing kale in our Homegirl Mini Farm and we use the vegetable in many of our dishes. The Kale Salad in our Fall Menu is served with tomatoes, cranberries, and pine nuts.
